So I am changing blogs. Getting a new one! I have not been the happy this one. So I am switching over to Wordpress. So ignore this blog, and start reading my new one! Hopefully I will start having better luck with the wordpress one. And I am making business cards so I wanted to make my new blog that I actually liked before I actually got my business cards made!

End of 2008 and Beginning of 2009

So the past month or longer I have been a terrible blogger and updater completely! I am determined to get back into regularly since life is finally starting to slow down a bit. Whew!

Here is a list of the 10 most exciting things you've missed out on:

1) Most exciting news... I got my Nikon D3 camera! And I am LOVING IT!

2) My boyfriend David moved back to Dallas for good after being away at school :-)

3) Christmas at the Brewers household was defiantly different than most this year. But ended up being one of my favorites.

4) I went to Mississippi with David to visit his family over

Christmas break. Which was a very big event in our relationship. But a good one.

5) I'm got the amazing book "Spectacular Weddings of Texas" with Lauren Clark featured in it for Christmas. I must say my mom looked all over the country for this book because no one had it! She finally find 2 copies left somewhere in Main and was able to snatch one of them! Thank Jesus for Moms.

6) My sister is now soon to be 7 months pregnant.

7) David and I have been dating 7 months yesterday.

8) The lovely Beth Dreyer and I got our plane tickets and hotel room booked for WPPI! Which I am soooo excited about. I am planning everything out already. And who all I can't wait to meet and see again!

9) I finally upgraded to Photoshop CS4. Its about time I was stuck back on the good old CS. Talk about old school.

10) And last but not least... my New Years Resolution.... WORKING OUT and eating HEALTHY! So far I am doing very well. And I must say I am loving how I feel after I've just worked out. Lets just hope it pays off!

We'll I hope everyone had an amazing New Year. And I can't wait to share my life in 2009 with you all. This year here are 5 of my big goals...

1) Meet new people and learn from them to further myself.

2) Get a Website started!

3) Build an excellent portfolio.

4) Be the best Auntie Kate I can be to my niece Adaline Paige when she's born in April.

5) Get in shape and look good for the start of 2010!!!

Winter in Texas

Texas. Winter in Texas is something I have a love hate relationship with. One day it hits 70 degrees outside. The next day 49 degrees. What's up with that? Even though I say I hate it, I wouldn't have Winter in Texas any other way.

So I have a confession to make, it's a very bad habit of mine. When I'm driving alone in the car I like to keep my camera in the seat next to me and when I'm at a stop light or stop sign and see something I like I take a quick picture of it. I know this could cause traffic issues but I can't help it. It's my thing I like to do.

Last night I went to dinner with my dear friend Kristin. Which was quit exciting because I haven't gotten to see her since the end of summer. Its so nice catching up with friends. We were talking about how some of our closest friends are the people we see the least. Which I find odd at times but still its so true. Anyway I'm so excited for her because she is doing hair school(not sure what you call hair school) and she loves it and she looks amazing! The most exciting part is she's getting engaged soon to her boyfriend Tyler! They are simply one of the cutest couples.

Well after dinner with her I decided to swing by the one and only store for everything TARGET! I went to get one thing and ended up coming out with 4 Christmas presents! Which we all know what that means , 4 less things I have to get done before Christmas. While I was there I turned onto an isle and saw a whole section of UT Christmas Ornaments! It was so exciting. And they were so cute. We'll of course I got some for me and David to have on our first Christmas together. I was going to surprise him with them when he moved back home next week. But I cracked on the phone last night and told him all about them. So i'm getting him a mini tree for his room to put the ornaments on. Aren't I such a good girlfriend. :-)

Tami & William

YEAH! My engagement photo shoot that I had Sunday afternoon was a success! I was so worried that it was going to rain. Thankfully it didn't, but the sky ended up being perfect the clouds defiantly added something to the pictures I think especially the ones at White Rock Lake! Tami and William were the sweetest couple. And they did everything I asked them to. If only every couple were as easy as they were. But this shoot was extra special because my sister came and helped me out. And she's 5 months pregnant. But the other special part is Tami is my brother-n-laws cousin. So it was just a big reunion. Tami hadn't seen my sister since she's been pregnant and we hadn't seen Tami since William proposed. So it was a lot of excitingness at once. Then after we finished Tami and William took my sister, her husband and I all out to dinner. Such a sweet couple. I wish them the best of luck!

Cozy Day

This morning I walked out the door on my day off of work and it was quit exciting cause I was wearing my brand news boots and I got to wear my favorite winter coat for the first time today! IT'S FINALLY COLD OUTSIDE! :-)

And now I am sitting happily on my cozy couch with my White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks and I am working away at my scholarship application for WPPI! Which I won't lie I am kinda nervous about. I've never filled one of these things out before. So I am busy busy busy thinking if I were a judge what would I want to hear? It's not w

orking very well. So Please wish me luck! If you have any feedback on this kind of stuff feel free to give any advice!

Oh and I am excited! Tomorrow I have an Indian Catholic Wedding to take pictures at. I've never been to one of these so I can't wait to see what its like! I am so blessed to keep getting more and more chances to help at new and wonderful things!

So David and I have been dating for almost 6 months! Which is quit exciting! But last night we were on the phone as we are every night. Well he comes home from school on tuesday morning for thanksgiving which I can't wait for! Well while we were talking he said "Kate would you like to go on a date with me?" I was speechless cause we always hangout we're always together but we don't go on that many official dates I guess you could say. So of course my response was, "I WOULD LOVE TO DAVID!" And yes that is how I said it. I am so excited he is taking me to see "Twilight" and said I could pick anywhere I wanted for dinner. He is the bestest ever! Sometimes I can't figure out how he handles me.

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my cozy little world where I look at everything through the lense of a camera!

My goal is to share with everyone out there what I love doing.

Which is of course Photography! I love nothing more than a good day with my camera.

So I am quit new to this whole blogging thing. My friend Beth who is a photographer as well keeps telling me to get a blog. So I finally broke down and got one. I know once I get use to it I will absolutely love. It's just learning a whole new thing that is the challenging part. I hope whoever reads my blog will get pleasure out of it! I am a photographer in the Dallas area. I am always looking for any photography opportunities.

I plan on posting my pictures on here. So please take a look, let me know what you think, and then ask me to take your pictures! lol. I am getting quit excited about the future of blogging!
